SWAYNE ROAD EAST DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

SWAYNE ROAD EAST DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

The team at Cogswell Surveys are currently working on two projects north of Cambridge High School on the east side of Swayne Road which will coincide with an upgrade of Swayne Road from Norfolk Drive, north to the Waikato Expressway overbridge. These two projects adjoin each other and involve the construction of the first part of a new connector road from Swayne Road through to Roseleigh Drive. A new intersection is also being designed at Swayne Road and our staff are working alongside engineering consultants Gray Matter to ensure a seamless interface with the intersection and the two proposed subdivisions.

Planning consent has been obtained for Stage 1 of the Transland project (16 Lots) and a 27 Lot subdivision currently on the market. Director Phil Cogswell (Planning & Resource Consent applications), and team members Andrew Watts and Geoff Thomas (preliminary engineering design) have worked on the project to date in close liaison with Council Planning and Engineering staff to obtain subdivision consent and achieve an acceptable outcome for all parties.

Along with project management services our survey staff will control set out of works along with surveying and as built information to meet Council specifications.
